Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings. We consider accessibility part of doing the job properly rather than an optional extra.

Standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This site has been built with that standard in mind, though we do not claim full conformance and are not currently independently audited.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order
• Colour combinations checked for contrast against WCAG AA thresholds
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
• Full keyboard operability — no function requires a mouse
• Form fields with associated labels and clear, specific error messages
• Descriptive text alternatives for informative images and diagrams
• Layouts that reflow to narrow screens and support browser zoom without loss of content
• Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference

Known limitations

• Some data tables scroll horizontally on very narrow screens
• Diagram descriptions summarise the content rather than reproducing every label
• Third-party embeds, where used, may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site

For our clients

Accessibility is included in every website we build, not sold as an add-on. Where a client operates in a sector with specific legal obligations, we will build to the standard required and say so on the Quote. We can also audit an existing site and produce a prioritised remediation plan.
